My nose gets warmer when I sip tea in the morning. Although my habit of opening bedroom windows during cool nights may have to be curtailed. Cool study, thank you!

In this fascinating in-vitro and ex-vivo study the researchers from Harvard Boston and Cairo found the mechanism of impaired immune system during the cold temperatures. Researchers found that the extracellular vesicles produced as a result of toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) are functionally impaired and reduced in numbers when the temperature drops in the anterior nasal mucosa even by 9 degrees Fahrenheit.
